Nôž WEDO 78 850 čierny strieborný pevná čepeľ

The WEDO 78 850 Utility Knife is a metal-bodied cutter with an auto-retractable blade and rubberised grip for secure handling. The spring-loaded blade retracts automatically when it loses contact with the material, and the knife can be switched to a multi-stop mode. The fully extended blade length is 25 mm. The cutter includes an integrated magazine for spare blades, a cord cutter, and is TÜV/GS approved. Size approximately 18.0 x 4.5 x 3.0 cm; weight 220 g. Colour: silver/black. Delivered on a blister card with five spare blades.

Advantages

The auto-retractable blade enhances user safety by withdrawing as soon as it no longer contacts the cut surface; switching to multi-stop mode allows controlled blade extension. The ergonomic metal handle with rubber grip provides stable handling for both right- and left-handed users thanks to a rear-mounted blade slider. Tool-free blade changes and an integrated spare-blade magazine simplify maintenance, while TÜV/GS approval confirms compliance with safety standards.

How to use

Grip the ergonomically shaped handle and position the rear blade slider to extend the blade to the required length or set it to automatic retraction. For cutting, do not hold the slide while moving the blade; the spring mechanism will retract the blade when it loses contact with the material. Change blades without tools using the easy-access blade compartment and load spare blades from the integrated magazine as needed. Use the cord cutter for small straps and cords.

Recommendations

Always allow the blade to retract fully before setting the knife down and replace blades when dull. Use the multi-stop mode only when a fixed extension is required; otherwise keep the knife in auto-retract mode to minimise risk of accidental injury.
