Nožnice na živý plot Metabo HS 18 LTX BL 55 — bezdrôtové 18V, dĺžka lišty 55 cm

Metabo HS 18 LTX BL 55 is a cordless 18V hedgecutter with a 55 cm blade length designed for trimming and shaping hedges in domestic gardens and small properties. The tool uses the Metabo 18V battery platform to deliver freedom of movement without a power cable, enabling precise cuts for routine hedge maintenance and shaping tasks. Its blade length and cordless operation make it suitable for working along borders and around obstacles where extension cords would be inconvenient.

Advantages

The hedgecutter combines a 55 cm dual-action blade with brushless motor technology to provide efficient cutting performance while reducing vibration. Cordless operation on the 18V platform removes cable constraints and improves maneuverability. The tool’s balanced design supports comfortable handling during longer trimming sessions and the blade length offers a compromise between reach and control for accurate shaping.

Suitable for

• Trimming and shaping garden hedges and borders
• Routine hedge maintenance on small to medium properties
• Working around fences, patios and planted areas without a power connection
• Detail cuts and edge tidying where precise control is required

Key specifications

• Power system: cordless 18V battery platform
• Blade length: 55 cm
• Motor type: brushless motor for improved efficiency
• Cutting action: dual-action blade to reduce vibration and improve cut quality
• Intended use: garden hedge trimming and shaping

How to use

Before use, fit a compatible 18V battery and ensure it is fully charged. Hold the hedgecutter with both hands, keeping a firm but relaxed grip on the front handle and main handle for balance. Start the tool according to the manufacturer’s switch procedure and move the blade steadily along the hedge at a controlled pace, using smooth sweeping strokes to achieve an even finish. For thicker branches, approach slowly and take multiple shallow passes rather than forcing a single cut. After use, switch the tool off, remove the battery and clean any plant debris from the blades and ventilation areas.

Recommendations

Use compatible Metabo 18V batteries and recommended chargers to ensure performance and battery life. Wear appropriate protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves, and keep bystanders at a safe distance while operating the hedgecutter. Perform regular blade maintenance—cleaning and lubrication as specified by the manufacturer—to maintain cutting performance and service life.
