How to use

Attach the lens to a compatible Sony E-mount camera body and secure the mount until it clicks. For general daylight shooting, set aperture between f/2.8 and f/8 for balanced sharpness and depth of field; open up to f/1.8 for low-light or shallow depth-of-field effects. Use the camera’s autofocus for routine shooting; switch to Direct Manual Focus (DMF) to fine-tune focus when autofocus struggles. Enable Optical SteadyShot on the camera or lens to reduce camera shake for slower shutter speeds.

Recommendations

Carry this compact prime as a lightweight second lens for everyday outings; its 35 mm focal length and f/1.8 aperture make it a flexible choice for street, portrait and low-light photography. Use a modestly higher ISO and enable stabilisation in low light to maintain shutter speeds that avoid motion blur.
