Objektívový filter OM System PRF-D58 PRO 58mm

The OM System PRF-D58 PRO 58mm lens filter is a professional-grade optical accessory designed for photographers using lenses with a 58mm thread. Engineered to control the light entering the lens, this filter reduces unwanted reflections and glare while preserving color fidelity and sharpness. Its durable construction and straightforward mounting mechanism make it suitable for regular field use across landscape, portrait and outdoor photography situations.

Advantages

The filter provides reliable reflection control and improved contrast without introducing color casts. Its slim, precision-threaded metal ring ensures secure attachment to compatible lenses while minimizing vignetting on wide-angle optics. Built for durability, the filter resists everyday wear and enables consistent optical performance over repeated use.

Suitable for

• Landscape photography to manage reflections and enhance sky and foliage contrast
• Portrait photography to reduce stray highlights and improve subject clarity
• Outdoor and travel photography where durable, easy-to-mount protection is required
• Any shooting situation with 58mm-thread lenses needing improved image quality

Key specifications

• Filter thread size: 58mm
• Optical type: professional-grade reflection control filter
• Mount material: slim metal threaded ring for secure attachment
• Finish: anti-reflective optical coatings to preserve color and contrast
• Form factor: low-profile design to reduce vignetting on wide-angle lenses

How to use

Align the filter's threads with the front thread of a compatible 58mm lens and rotate gently clockwise until snug; avoid overtightening. Use the filter on the lens during shooting to control reflections from bright surfaces such as water, glass or wet foliage, and to improve overall contrast. When not in use, store the filter in a protective case to prevent scratches on the optical surface. Clean the filter with a soft microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaning solution as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, check for vignetting at the widest focal lengths when mounting on wide-angle lenses. Remove or re-check the filter when using stacked filters or large lens hoods to ensure there is no mechanical interference. Regularly inspect the optical surface and coatings; clean gently to maintain image quality.
