Ochranná fólia Tesa Surface Protection 04848-1-1 transparentná 1 x 100 m

Tesa Surface Protection Film 04848-1-1 Transparent 1 x 100 m is a clear, self-adhesive film supplied on a 100-metre roll that protects smooth surfaces from scratches, dust, paint splashes and general soiling during renovation, transport or storage. The film adheres to glass, painted panels, plastics and other smooth substrates, providing a temporary barrier that preserves surface appearance and reduces cleaning and repair work after projects.

Advantages

The transparent construction allows visual inspection of the protected surface without removal, while the adhesive backing offers secure adhesion without leaving residues when removed properly. Supplied as a long roll, the product enables continuous application across large areas and reduces the need for multiple smaller pieces. Designed for easy cutting and alignment, the film adapts to flat and slightly curved surfaces and withstands typical on-site conditions encountered during renovations and transport.

Suitable for

• Protecting glass windows and doors during painting or construction
• Shielding painted or coated panels in storage and transport
• Temporary protection of plastic and acrylic sheets
• Covering countertops, furniture fronts and laminated surfaces during refurbishment

Key specifications

• Format: transparent protective film on a 1 x 100 m roll
• Application type: self-adhesive, removable
• Compatible surfaces: glass, painted surfaces, plastics, laminates
• Performance: protects against scratches, dust, paint splashes and dirt
• Installation: suitable for manual cutting and on-site trimming

How to use

Clean and dry the surface thoroughly before application to ensure optimal adhesion. Unroll the film and cut to the required length, then apply the adhesive side to the surface, smoothing out air pockets and wrinkles with a soft squeegee or cloth. For edges and corners, trim precisely with a utility knife. When removal is required, lift a corner and peel the film back slowly at a low angle to reduce the risk of adhesive transfer; if any residue remains, remove it with a suitable cleaner recommended for the substrate.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Apply at moderate temperatures and avoid prolonged exposure to high heat or direct sunlight while the film is in place. Test adhesion on a small inconspicuous area if using on sensitive or newly painted surfaces to confirm compatibility.
