Ochranná kontaktná zásuvka Brennenstuhl 9837550010 16 A 250 V

The Earthing contact coupling Brennenstuhl 9837550010 16 A 250 V provides a secure conductive connection for protective earth between plugs and sockets. It is designed to maintain grounding continuity for electrical appliances and tools, reducing the risk associated with faulty or missing earth contacts. The coupling is compact and intended for domestic and light professional environments where a reliable earthing contact is required.

Advantages

The coupling offers a stable and low-resistance earth connection rated for 16 A and 250 V, supporting common household and light trade equipment. Its compact construction permits easy installation in confined spaces and integration with extension leads or junction boxes. Materials and contact design ensure consistent conductivity and long-term mechanical reliability under normal use conditions.

Suitable for

• Connecting grounding conductors in extension leads and temporary wiring setups
• Ensuring earthing continuity for power tools and household appliances
• Replacing or restoring protective earth contacts in sockets and connectors
• Use in workshops, garages, construction sites with light-duty electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Current rating: 16 A
• Voltage rating: 250 V
• Function: conductive earthing contact coupling
• Intended application: protective earth continuity for plugs and sockets
• Form factor: compact inline coupling suitable for confined installation spaces

How to use

Install the earthing contact coupling by connecting it between the earth conductors of the mating plug and socket or within an extension lead assembly, following local electrical codes. Ensure power is disconnected before making any connections. Secure conductor terminations as required by the coupling design, verify mechanical stability, and restore power to test earth continuity using an appropriate meter or tester.

Recommendations

Use this coupling only for its intended purpose of maintaining protective earth continuity. Do not exceed the rated 16 A/250 V limits. Regularly inspect contacts and insulation for corrosion, damage or loosening, and replace the coupling if any defects are found. Installation and testing should follow applicable safety standards and, where required, be performed by a qualified person.
