Ochranná špirála na káble samozatváracia dvojvrstvová 5 m x 19 mm DELOCK 19028 oranžová

DELOCK cable protection spiral self-closing double-layer 5 m x 19 mm in orange is a flexible, reusable sleeve designed to bundle and protect multiple cables, wires or tubing. The 5 m length and 19 mm diameter suit medium-size cable bundles in office, home AV and light industrial environments. The product features a dual-layer construction for increased mechanical protection and an integrated wear warning to indicate when the sleeve requires inspection or replacement.

Advantages

The double-layer design combines a robust outer layer with a protective inner layer to reduce abrasion, kinking and mechanical stress on enclosed cables while maintaining flexibility for easy routing. The self-closing spiral form allows tool-free installation and removal, and the polyester monofilament and multifilament construction provides durability and thermal resilience. An integrated wear indicator makes it possible to detect heavy use and act before damage to wiring occurs.

Suitable for

• Organising and bundling office power and data cables
• Protecting home AV, TV and entertainment system wiring
• Routing and shielding cables in light industrial or workshop environments
• Temporary or permanent cable management where reusability is required

When it may not be suitable

This sleeve is not intended as a substitute for conduit in high-voltage or heavy-duty industrial installations where specific certified conduits are required. It may not provide sufficient protection against sharp edges or heavy crushing forces in harsh mechanical environments. For very large cable bundles or rigidly fixed installations, a larger diameter or different mounting method may be more appropriate.

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Inner diameter (nominal): 19 mm
• Construction: double-layer spiral sleeve
• Material: polyester monofilament and multifilament
• Temperature range: -40 °C to 150 °C
• Flammability class: UL 94
• Reusable: yes
• Wear indicator: integrated (visible layer for wear detection)

How to use

Wrap the self-closing spiral around the cable bundle by guiding the cables into the spiral and rotating or pressing the sleeve closed until it fully surrounds the cables. Cut the sleeve to the required length with scissors or a suitable cutting tool. For routing through tight spaces, compress the spiral slightly and feed it along the cable path. Periodically check the integrated wear indicator; if the warning layer becomes visible or the sleeve shows signs of significant wear, inspect the enclosed cables and replace the sleeve if necessary.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that a 19 mm diameter is adequate for the number and thickness of cables to be bundled
• Check the environmental temperature range against the intended application
• Assess whether abrasion or crush resistance of the sleeve meets the installation’s mechanical demands
• Decide if the orange colour and wear indicator are suitable for visual monitoring in your environment

Recommendations

Use the sleeve for organized cable runs where flexibility and reusability are required. Avoid exposing the sleeve to continuous sharp impacts or heavy compression. Regularly inspect the wear indicator and replace the sleeve when the warning layer appears to maintain cable safety.
