3M Vollsichtbrille 2890SA are full-vision safety goggles designed to provide eye protection in industrial, laboratory and workshop environments. The full-wrap lens offers a wide field of view while covering the eye area from splashes and flying particles. Anti-fog treatment maintains visual clarity during temperature changes and physical activity, and integrated UV protection reduces exposure to ultraviolet radiation. The goggles are intended for general-purpose impact and splash protection and are compatible with other personal protective equipment used in maintenance, assembly, chemical handling and similar tasks.

Advantages

The full-vision design gives a broad, unobstructed view while preserving protection around the eyes. An anti-fog coating helps keep the lens clear during prolonged wear and when moving between different temperatures. Built-in UV protection safeguards against ultraviolet light without the need for additional shields. Lightweight construction and a contoured frame support comfortable use for extended periods and compatibility with respirators and hearing protection.

How to use

Before each use, inspect the goggles for scratches, cracks or degraded coatings and ensure the lenses are clean. Fit the goggles so the frame seals comfortably against the face and adjust the strap or temples for a secure, stable fit without excessive pressure. Use the anti-fog feature by ensuring lenses are cleaned with suitable non-abrasive cleaners recommended for coated polycarbonate. If visibility becomes impaired due to damage or heavy contamination, replace the goggles to maintain protection.

Recommendations

Store the goggles in a clean, dry place when not in use and avoid exposing the lenses to solvents or abrasive materials that can damage the anti-fog coating. Combine these full-vision safety goggles with appropriate face masks, helmets or hearing protection as required by the work environment. Replace the goggles if the lens or frame is damaged or if coatings have worn away to ensure continued protection.
