Edge-to-edge privacy filters are designed for frameless laptops with full glass displays and include a cutout for the webcam and sensors. They limit side viewing to protect login credentials, personal details and confidential information both in transit and in the office, while preserving clear visibility for the user seated directly in front of the screen. The filter also protects the display glass from scratches and minor damage and maintains smooth finger gliding for touchscreens.

Advantages

The privacy filter provides clear front-facing image clarity while blocking visibility from either side, enhancing on-site and mobile privacy. It reduces blue light transmission to decrease eye strain and offers additional physical protection for the screen surface without affecting touch responsiveness.

Key specifications

• Reduces 51% (±5%) of blue light transmission (blue ray wave 440–460 nm)
• Cutout for webcam and sensors
• Designed for frameless laptop displays (edge-to-edge glass)

How to use

Align the privacy filter with the laptop display so the webcam and sensor cutouts match the device. Attach according to the manufacturer’s mounting method (adhesive tabs, magnetic strips or slide-on fit) and ensure the filter sits flush across the edge-to-edge glass. Clean the screen and filter surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and suitable screen cleaner to maintain clarity and touch performance.

Recommendations

For optimal privacy and durability, choose the filter size matching your laptop model, verify the webcam cutout alignment before final attachment, and store the filter in a protective sleeve when not in use.
