Ochranný kôš Steinel HL 1820 S, hmotnosť 80 g, šírka 84 mm

Protective Basket Steinel HL 1820 S, weight 80 g, width 84 mm is a compact metal guard designed specifically for the Steinel HL 1820 S lighting appliance. The guard surrounds the luminaire to reduce risk from accidental impacts and prevent larger debris from contacting the housing while preserving airflow and heat dissipation. Constructed for indoor or sheltered outdoor environments, the basket is sized to match the HL 1820 S and provides discreet mechanical protection without altering the light output substantially.

Advantages

The metal construction offers reliable resistance to knocks and physical contact while remaining lightweight at approximately 80 g. With a width of 84 mm the guard fits the intended luminaire profile and keeps protective coverage close to the fixture to avoid protruding beyond the mounting footprint. The open design maintains ventilation and prevents overheating, and the compact form supports simple mounting and alignment with the HL 1820 S housing.

Suitable for

• Protecting HL 1820 S luminaires in utility areas and workshops
• Use in corridors, stairwells, and storage rooms where accidental contact is possible
• Installation in sheltered outdoor locations such as covered entrances or porches
• Retrofit protection where added mechanical guarding is required without changing fixture placement

Key specifications

• Material: metal guard with open grid design
• Net weight: approximately 80 g
• Overall width: approximately 84 mm
• Compatibility: designed to match the physical profile of the Steinel HL 1820 S luminaire
• Suitable environment: indoor and sheltered outdoor use

How to use

Mount the protective basket directly over the Steinel HL 1820 S following the fixture's mounting points and any specific installation instructions from the luminaire manufacturer. Ensure the guard is aligned so that it does not obstruct the light-emitting surface and that ventilation paths remain clear. Secure fastenings to a stable substrate and verify mechanical stability after installation. Periodically inspect the guard for deformation or accumulated debris and clean as needed to maintain airflow.

Recommendations

Use this protective basket where mechanical protection is required but full environmental sealing is not necessary. Avoid exposing the metal guard to continuous unprotected outdoor conditions that could accelerate corrosion; for exposed installations use appropriate corrosion-resistant mounting locations or additional protective measures. Regular visual checks will help ensure continued ventilation and secure attachment.
