Ochranný kryt proti vetru Rode WS9-O pre mikrofóny, pena, ľahký

The WS9-O is a deluxe windshield designed for RØDE compact microphones such as the VideoMicro, VideoMic Me, VideoMic Me-L and VideoMic Me-C. Combining open-cell foam with an acoustically transparent synthetic fur cover, it reduces wind noise and breath sounds during outdoor and indoor recordings while remaining lightweight and easy to carry.

Advantages

The windshield’s open-cell foam core preserves microphone sensitivity while the synthetic fur layer minimises wind interference. It is lightweight, easy to fit and remove, and provides basic protection for the microphone capsule without significantly altering audio characteristics.

Suitable for

• Outdoor interviews and vlogging with RØDE VideoMicro or VideoMic Me series
• Location recording in breezy conditions
• Indoor use to reduce breath and plosive noise during close‑mic speech
• Portable fieldwork where quick mounting and removal are required

How to use

Slide the WS9-O over the microphone capsule so the foam sits snugly around the mic body and the synthetic fur faces outward. Ensure a secure fit without compressing the foam excessively. For removal, gently pull the windshield off the capsule. Use with the specified RØDE models to maintain optimal fit and performance.

Recommendations

Use the WS9-O when recording in moderate wind or when reducing breath noise is important; in heavy wind conditions consider additional wind protection. Keep the windshield clean and dry to preserve acoustic transparency and replace it if the foam deforms or the fur becomes damaged.
