Ochranný radom Extralink AM-20/90 — biela, pre anténu AM-20/90

The Protective radome Extralink AM-20/90 — white is a single-piece weatherproof cover made to shield the Extralink AM-20/90 outdoor antenna. Designed for outdoor wireless links and point-to-point deployments, the radome deflects rain, dust and debris away from antenna elements while preserving signal integrity and allowing routine access for service. Constructed to fit the antenna profile, the radome simplifies installation and reduces direct exposure of sensitive components to environmental wear.

Advantages

This radome provides continuous environmental protection without altering the antenna’s radiation pattern or requiring internal modification. Its single-piece design minimizes ingress points and streamlines mounting, while the white finish offers neutral reflectivity and reduced visual contrast in typical outdoor settings. The cover reduces maintenance frequency by preventing accumulation of contaminants and helps maintain stable link performance in adverse weather.

Suitable for

• Outdoor point-to-point microwave or wireless links using the AM-20/90 antenna
• Installations exposed to rain, dust, bird droppings or airborne debris
• Sites where reducing routine antenna maintenance is desirable
• Environments where a neutral-colored protective cover is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Form factor: single-piece radome designed to fit AM-20/90 antenna profile
• Material: weather-resistant polymer composite suitable for outdoor exposure
• Color: white
• Protection: shields antenna elements from rain, dust and debris
• Impact on performance: maintains original antenna signal characteristics when correctly installed

How to use

Position the radome over the mounted AM-20/90 antenna, aligning it with the antenna’s mounting points and feed assembly as designed. Secure the radome according to the antenna manufacturer’s mounting instructions, ensuring fasteners and seals are tightened to prevent water ingress. After installation, verify antenna alignment and link performance and re-check fasteners periodically as part of routine maintenance.

Recommendations

Inspect the radome after severe weather events and during scheduled maintenance to remove large debris or deposits. Use non-abrasive cleaners and mild soap when cleaning; avoid solvents or abrasive tools that could damage the surface. Ensure ventilation around feed and connector areas as specified for the AM-20/90 antenna to maintain optimal signal performance.
