Odizolovacie kliešte Knipex 12 12 06

The Knipex 12 12 06 cable stripper is a hand tool for precise removal of insulation from a wide range of cables, including difficult-to-remove materials such as PTFE, silicone, Radox®, Kapton® and rubber. It has a replaceable shaped blade matched to conductor cross-sections and a length stop for consistent stripping during repetitive tasks. The pliers body is made of steel and the blade is oil-hardened special tool steel. The tool measures 195 mm in length and weighs 0.445 kg, with a durable blue and red plastic handle for comfortable handling.

Advantages

The tool provides form-fit stripping even on multi-layer and high-performance insulating materials thanks to a second pair of blades that holds the remaining insulation securely in place. Replaceable shaped blades ensure accurate adaptation to different conductor sizes, and the integrated length stop allows constant stripping length for repetitive work. Robust steel construction and oil-hardened special tool steel blades increase durability and service life.

Suitable for

• Stripping insulation from single and multi-core cables
• Work with PTFE, silicone, Radox®, Kapton® and rubber insulated wires
• Repetitive stripping tasks requiring constant strip length
• Professional electrical installation and network cabling
• Maintenance and repair tasks in workshops

Key specifications

• Brand: Knipex
• Model: 12 12 06
• Length: 195 mm
• Weight: 0.445 kg
• Handle: blue and red plastic
• Pliers body: steel
• Blade: oil-hardened special tool steel, replaceable shaped blade

How to use

Select the shaped blade corresponding to the conductor cross-section, place the cable into the stripping jaws, close the tool to engage the second pair of blades that hold the remaining insulation, and pull off the insulation using the length stop to obtain a consistent strip length. For multi-layer insulation, adjust blade positioning as required and perform steady, controlled movements to avoid damaging conductors.

Recommendations

Inspect blades regularly and replace the shaped blade when worn. Keep the tool clean and lightly lubricate the blade pivot points to maintain smooth operation. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working with live systems; disconnect power before stripping insulated conductors.
