Odľahčenie ťahu pre RJ45 konektor DeLOCK 86728

DeLOCK strain relief for RJ45 plug (model 86728) is a blue rubber boot designed to protect the cable end and connector from abrasion and mechanical stress. Supplied in packs of 20, each boot measures 15 mm wide, 28 mm deep and 14 mm high, and is intended for use with standard RJ45 plugs to prolong cable service life.

Advantages

The durable rubber construction reduces wear at the cable-connector junction and absorbs tensile forces that could otherwise damage the cable or plug. The colour-coded blue design allows easy identification of protected cables. Compact dimensions fit common RJ45 connectors while adding minimal bulk to the cable assembly.

Suitable for

• Protecting Ethernet cables with RJ45 connectors
• Network installations where strain relief is required
• Cabling in high-traffic or moving environments to reduce connector wear

How to use

Slide the strain relief boot over the cable before terminating the RJ45 plug, then fit the RJ45 connector into the cable and push the boot forward to cover the plug base. Ensure the boot sits snugly around the cable and the plug body so it can absorb tensile loads and protect against abrasion. Verify that the clip and contacts remain accessible if necessary for plug locking.

Recommendations

Use the strain relief on compatible RJ45-terminated cables and avoid forcing the boot over plugs that do not match its dimensions. Replace boots showing significant wear or cracking to maintain effective protection.
