Odpadkový kôš Hailo Öko duo Plus L — dvojdielny nerez 17L + 9L

The Hailo Öko duo Plus L is a pedal-operated waste container with two removable inner bins for sorting household waste. The bin features a stainless steel rectangular body, a black plastic lid and an internal pedal mechanism that opens the lid quietly via a slow-closing system. Total footprint measures 43 x 47 x 34 cm and the combined capacity is 17 + 9 litres.

Advantages

The design combines a durable stainless steel shell with practical plastic components to keep the exterior smudge-resistant while offering easy maintenance. Two removable inner containers allow convenient separation of recyclables and general waste, and the wide ergonomic pedal provides comfortable, hands-free operation. The slow-closing lid reduces noise and prevents abrupt slamming.

Suitable for

• Household kitchens where waste sorting is required
• Small offices or break rooms for separating recyclables
• Any room where a compact, dual-compartment bin with pedal operation is preferred

When it may not be suitable

This model is not intended for large-volume waste collection or commercial environments with high waste throughput due to its 17 + 9 litre inner capacities. It may also be less suitable where only a single large compartment is needed rather than a dual sorting solution.

Key specifications

• Overall dimensions: 43 x 47 x 34 cm
• Inner container capacities: 17 litres and 9 litres
• Body material: stainless steel
• Lid material and colour: black plastic
• Operation: foot pedal with internal mechanism
• Closing: slow-closing lid
• Inner containers: removable, colours black and brown

How to use

Place the bin on a level surface and press the wide pedal with your foot to open the lid. Dispose of sorted waste into the appropriate inner container (larger or smaller). Remove inner containers by lifting them out for emptying and cleaning; replace them by aligning with the internal guides and lowering them back into the body. Clean the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent; wash inner plastic containers with warm water and standard cleaning agents.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure the combined 17 + 9 litre capacity meets your household or office needs
• Measure available floor space to confirm the 43 x 47 x 34 cm footprint fits
• Decide whether a dual-compartment bin suits your waste separation habits

Recommendations

For quieter operation and longer life, avoid forcing the lid open manually and empty the inner containers regularly to prevent overloading the pedal mechanism.
