Why choose it

The LH-61E is more than a simple accessory—it's a safeguard for your image quality and your lens. By reducing flare and ghosting, it preserves the sharpness and color fidelity that M.Zuiko lenses are known for. The rigid plastic construction also provides a physical barrier, protecting the front element from accidental bumps, scratches, and fingerprints. Its reversible design means you can keep it on the lens at all times, ready to deploy when needed.

Ideal use cases

• Landscape photography in bright or backlit conditions
• Wildlife and sports shooting where stray light is common
• Travel photography where lens protection is paramount
• Any situation where you want to maximize contrast and minimize post-processing

Good to know

The LH-61E is an official OM System accessory, ensuring perfect fit and finish with your lens. It replaces the older LH-61 model and is fully compatible with both current and previous versions of the 75-300mm and 40-150mm lenses. No tools are required for installation—simply align the marks and twist until it clicks. For storage, reverse the hood and twist it onto the lens mount to keep your kit compact.
