Optický kábel EFB Elektronik O8342L200OM3 200 m 12x LC U-DQ(ZN) BH čierny

The EFB Elektronik O8342L200OM3 is a 200 m OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with 12 LC connectors on each end, designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Its 50 µm core diameter and OM3 performance characteristics deliver low attenuation and support for 10 Gbps and higher short-reach multimode links. The U-DQ(ZN) BH jacket and internal construction provide mechanical protection while maintaining flexibility for installation in cable trays, horizontal cabling and short backbone runs.

Advantages

This cable combines multimode OM3 performance with a compact 12-fibre LC connector arrangement to save rack and patch panel space while enabling high-density connections. The 50 µm core supports typical enterprise and data center multimode applications with good modal bandwidth. The U-DQ(ZN) BH design offers enhanced mechanical strength and crush resistance with a flexible sheath that simplifies routing through conduits and cable management systems.

Suitable for

• Data centre uplinks and short-distance server/storage interconnects
• Enterprise LAN backbones and horizontal cabling
• High-density patch panel and switch deployments
• Multimode 10 Gbps and 40 Gbps links using MPO/LC infrastructure conversions

How to use

Route the fibre cable along the planned cable path avoiding tight bends and stress points; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius during installation. Terminate or connect the LC connectors to compatible ports on transceivers, patch panels or switches. Secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories to prevent mechanical strain and to maintain bend radius; when making long runs, use intermediate supports in trays or racks every recommended interval to prevent sagging.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair the OM3 fibre with compatible multimode transceivers and ensure connectors are clean before mating. Avoid excessive pulling force and maintain minimum bend radius during installation and handling. Use labelled patching and testing (optical power and insertion loss) after installation to verify link quality for 10 Gbps and higher multimode applications.
