Optický keystone konektor ShiverPeaks 08-10220 ST-ST simplex jednovidový žltý

The ShiverPeaks Fiber Optic Keystone Connector 08-10220 ST‑ST Simplex Singlemode Yellow is a keystone-format fiber adapter that provides a single ST-style simplex connection for singlemode optical fiber. It is designed to snap into keystone wall plates, modules or patch panels, converting a keystone opening into a reliable ST female-female link. The yellow housing indicates singlemode compatibility and helps with visual identification in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This keystone connector offers a compact keystone footprint that fits standard keystone wall plates and patch panels, allowing quick installation and tidy cable management. The ST bayonet-style interface ensures a secure mechanical connection and straightforward mating and demating. The connector’s singlemode design and color coding reduce the risk of cross-connection and simplify network organization. Materials and construction are intended for consistent optical alignment and repeatable performance in LAN, telecom and data center environments.

Suitable for

• Singlemode fiber patching in local area networks (LAN)
• Wall plate and outlet installations in office and residential premises
• Telecommunication and network rack patch panels
• Data center single optical link connections requiring ST interface

Key specifications

• Connector type: ST to ST, simplex
• Fiber type: singlemode (SM)
• Format: keystone module for snap-in installation
• Housing color: yellow (singlemode identification)
• Interface: female ST bayonet-style sockets
• Compatibility: standard keystone wall plates and patch panels

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone opening until it clicks into place. Connect singlemode fiber patch cords with ST male connectors by aligning the bayonet plug and twisting to secure the connection. To disconnect, depress the release if present and twist the plug to remove. Ensure fiber endfaces are clean and inspected before mating to maintain signal quality and avoid damage to ferrules.

Recommendations

Use this ST‑ST keystone connector with singlemode patch cords and maintain standard fiber cleaning and handling procedures. Keep spare dust caps on unused ports, verify endface cleanliness with appropriate inspection tools, and avoid excessive bending or strain at the connector to preserve optical performance.
