Optický vláknový adaptér DELOCK LC samica na samica OM2 Duplex (2 ks, polytaška)

DELOCK LC female to female OM2 duplex adapter (pack of 2) provides a passive, reliable connection for LC multimode fibres. Designed for OM2 multimode fibre, this LC duplex coupling allows two LC male connectors to be joined directly, extending or repairing fibre links in network installations, data centres and telecom racks. Supplied as two adapters in a polybag, the compact form factor supports installation in fibre connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels where standard LC duplex interfaces are required.

Advantages

The adapter offers low-loss passive coupling for LC multimode connectors and a duplex design that supports two channels in one compact housing. Its OM2 compatibility ensures correct alignment and performance with multimode fibre runs used in short- to medium-distance links. The simple, tool-free insertion of LC male connectors makes it suitable for quick field work and patching, while the durable construction suits repeated mating cycles and standard rack or box mounting.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining OM2 multimode fibre links
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Data centre and telecom rack connections
• Field repairs and temporary fibre patching

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC female to LC female (duplex)
• Fibre type compatibility: OM2 multimode
• Quantity: pack of 2 adapters
• Packaging: polybag
• Mounting: suitable for installation in connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels

How to use

Insert an LC male connector into each end of the duplex adapter until it clicks into place, ensuring proper alignment of the ferrules. Use the adapter to join two fibre cables or to extend an existing run by coupling two LC-terminated patch cords. For rack or box installations, position the adapter in the desired panel aperture or holder and secure according to the enclosure’s mounting method. Inspect and, if necessary, clean connector end-faces before mating to minimise insertion loss and back reflections.

Recommendations

Before installation, verify that the connected cables are OM2 multimode type and that connector end-faces are clean and undamaged. Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools and inspection equipment to maintain optical performance. Avoid excessive bending of connected fibres and follow standard handling procedures to preserve connector integrity.
