Optický vláknový konektor SC samica–samica DELOCK 85995, fialový, balenie 4 ks

DELOCK 85995 is a set of four SC female–female fibre optic adapters in violet, designed to couple two SC simplex plugs. Each adapter provides a passive SC coupling compatible with standard SC connectors and can be used in singlemode or multimode cabling environments depending on the connected fibre type. The adapters arrive in compact polybag packaging and are suitable for extending or adapting SC fibre connections in networking and telecom installations.

Advantages

The SC female–female adapters offer a simple and reliable passive connection method that preserves fibre alignment and minimizes insertion loss when used with properly prepared connectors. Their compact form factor and identifiable violet colour simplify installation and cable management in racks and patch panels. Supplied as a pack of four, the set provides multiple coupling points for small projects or spare parts inventory.

Suitable for

• Extending SC-to-SC fibre links in networks
• Adapting SC connectors in telecom and datacom patch panels
• Temporary fibre coupling during installation and testing
• Small maintenance and repair tasks on SC-terminated cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC female–female adapter
• Quantity: pack of 4 adapters
• Colour: violet
• Compatibility: SC simplex plugs, suitable for singlemode or multimode fibre depending on cabling
• Packaging: compact polybag
• Manufacturing origin: China

How to use

Insert the SC simplex plug of the first fibre cable into one side of the adapter and the SC simplex plug of the second cable into the opposite side until each plug clicks into place. Ensure connector endfaces are clean and free of dust or debris before mating to reduce insertion loss and prevent damage. When disconnecting, press the release mechanism on each SC plug and pull straight out. Use one adapter per pair of SC connectors to establish a stable passive coupling.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each use, avoid bending the fibre near the adapter beyond recommended minimum bend radii, and store unused adapters in their packaging to protect ferrules from contamination. Verify compatibility with singlemode or multimode cabling in your installation to ensure expected optical performance.
