How to use

Fit the appropriate oscillating blade or accessory according to the material and task, ensuring the tool is switched off and the battery is removed before changing attachments. Insert a charged compatible battery into the tool, select the required speed setting if applicable, and position the blade on the work surface. Apply steady, controlled pressure and allow the oscillating motion to perform the cutting, scraping or sanding—avoid forcing the tool to prevent blade wear and motor overload. After use, remove the battery, clean the tool and store it with blades secured.

Recommendations

Use matched DeWalt blades and accessories for best results and follow manufacturer guidelines for blade selection and speed settings. Wear suitable personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask when cutting or sanding. Keep replacement blades and attachments on hand to maintain efficiency during renovation and finishing tasks.
