Páska TESA 60418 hnedá 132m PET syntetický kaučuk 50mm

tesa® 60418 is a more sustainable carton sealing tape designed for light and medium weight cartons. The tape uses a thin polyester (PET) backing that contains 85% recycled post-consumer material and a tacky synthetic rubber hotmelt adhesive, resulting in a product with a total recycled content of 60%. With a backing thickness of 0.036 mm, elongation at break of 120% and tensile strength of 38 N/mm², tesa® 60418 offers a balance of conformability and tear resistance suitable for indoor packaging operations.

Advantages

tesa® 60418 combines a thin, conformable PET backing with a reliable synthetic rubber adhesive to provide easy unwinding, good immediate closure and tear resistance. The backing composition contributes to sustainability by including recycled post-consumer material, while the higher roll length reduces the frequency of roll changes in high-volume packing environments. The tape is rated for cartons up to 25 kg and performs well in automated packaging processes.

Suitable for

• Sealing light and medium weight cartons (up to 25 kg)
• Automated packaging lines and case sealers
• High-volume warehouse packing and dispatch
• Indoor packaging and storage applications

How to use

Apply tesa® 60418 directly to the carton seam, ensuring the surfaces are clean and dry for optimal adhesion. For manual use, pull and press the tape along the carton seam, smoothing it to remove air pockets. For automated processes, load the tape onto the dispenser or case sealer according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions; the tape’s low unwinding force and immediate closing performance support reliable automatic application.

Recommendations

Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use the tape within the recommended temperature range (up to 35 °C) and test adhesion on critical substrates before large-scale application to ensure compatibility with carton surface treatments and coatings.
