Advantages

The slim ergonomic handle offers secure grip and improved control during cutting, while the straight blade provides accurate, clean cuts on paper and similar materials. The balanced weight distribution reduces hand fatigue during repetitive use. The visible blade edge and compact single-unit design make the cutter easy to store and carry in a pencil case or desk drawer.

Suitable for

• Cutting paper and lightweight card stock
• Everyday office and school tasks
• Crafts that require straight cuts
• Home paperwork and document trimming

Key specifications

• Cut type: straight cut
• Handle material: molded plastic for ergonomic grip
• Blade material: hardened steel blade for lasting sharpness
• Color scheme: black and orange
• Designed user group: adults
• Form factor: single-piece hand cutter

How to use

Hold the Pelikan Griffix cutter with the handle in your dominant hand and align the straight blade with the cutting line. Apply even pressure and move the cutter steadily through the material, keeping fingers clear of the blade edge. For best results on thicker paper or light card stock, make multiple shallow passes rather than forcing a single deep cut. After use, store the cutter in a drawer or protective sleeve to preserve blade sharpness and prevent accidental contact.

Recommendations

Use on standard paper and light card stock for optimal performance; avoid cutting metal, thick plastic or other hard materials. Regularly check blade condition and replace the cutter if cuts become uneven or require excessive force. Keep out of reach of children when not supervised, and follow basic safety precautions such as cutting away from the body.
