Philips Hue White and colour ambience Starterkit: 2 E27 smart lampy + stmievač + Bridge Pro

The Philips Hue White and colour ambience Starter kit includes two E27 colour-capable smart bulbs, a Dimmer switch and the Bridge Pro. The Bridge Pro features an upgraded processor and a new chip that enables faster response, greater capacity and advanced features such as AI-driven routines and Zigbee security. The bulbs support a wide colour temperature range and can be controlled locally via Bluetooth or integrated into a whole-home Zigbee network through the Bridge Pro.

Advantages

The kit provides flexible smart lighting control for a room or small area: colour-capable E27 bulbs deliver adjustable white and coloured light, the Bridge Pro enables whole-home control and improved performance, and the included Dimmer switch gives convenient local on/off and dimming without using a phone. Compatibility with Android and iOS and support for Bluetooth and Zigbee increase integration options and remote management.

Suitable for

• Living rooms, bedrooms or dining areas where adjustable white and coloured light is desired
• Users who want a compact starter solution for building a Zigbee smart lighting system
• Homes needing both local switch control and app-based or remote control via Bridge Pro

When it may not be suitable

This starter kit is intended for domestic lighting needs and small-scale installations. It may not be suitable for commercial spaces or large properties that require many fixtures, professional lighting design, or wired smart lighting control at scale. The bulbs have typical power consumption around 8.1 W and are rated energy class D, which may be a consideration if you prioritise the highest energy efficiency.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your fixtures accept E27 bulbs and have appropriate socket depth and clearance
• Confirm you have a compatible smart home network (Wi‑Fi router) and a smartphone running Android or iOS for setup
• Consider whether Zigbee whole-home integration is required or if Bluetooth control alone is sufficient
• Review energy class (D) and typical power consumption (8.1 W) if energy efficiency is a priority

Recommendations

For reliable whole-home control and to access advanced Bridge Pro features, connect the Bridge Pro to your router and add bulbs via Zigbee in the Philips Hue app. Use the Dimmer switch for quick manual control and configure routines or MotionAware automations in the app to take advantage of the Bridge Pro’s enhanced processing capabilities.
