PIKO 22065 H0 zvuková dieselová lokomotíva BR 215 DB AG Epoche V so zvukovým dekodérom PIKO

Model railroaders seeking authentic sound and reliable performance for their H0 layout will find the PIKO 22065 BR 215 diesel locomotive a compelling addition. This model replicates the iconic DB AG Era V prototype with a pre-installed PIKO sound decoder, delivering realistic engine sounds, horn, and other operational noises straight out of the box. Its die-cast metal chassis and 5-pole motor with flywheel ensure smooth, powerful operation, while the PluX22 interface allows for future decoder upgrades. Directional LED lighting and close coupling kinematics further enhance realism on any layout.

Who is it for

This locomotive is ideal for H0 scale modelers who want a high-quality, sound-equipped diesel locomotive without the hassle of installing a decoder themselves. It suits both experienced hobbyists expanding their DB AG fleet and newcomers looking for a reliable, feature-rich model. The Era V designation makes it perfect for layouts set between 1990 and 2007.

Tips

To get the most out of the sound functions, use a DCC command station capable of accessing all function keys (typically F0 to F28). For optimal performance, ensure your track is clean and the locomotive's wheels and pickups are free of debris. If you plan to run on very tight curves, note the minimum radius of 358 mm and avoid smaller radii to prevent derailments. The PluX22 interface allows easy swapping to a different decoder if you prefer a different sound profile.
