Plochý strúhadlo Westmark Steel 10022270 nehrdzavejúca oceľ

The Westmark Steel flat grater in stainless steel is a compact, flat hand grater designed for efficient grating of cheese, vegetables, citrus zest and other food items. Its thin, rigid stainless steel body provides a stable grating surface while the flat profile makes it easy to hold, slide across ingredients and store in a drawer or hang on a hook. The grater's construction resists corrosion and retains sharp grating edges for repeated kitchen use.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction delivers corrosion resistance and long-term durability while maintaining a hygienic surface that is simple to clean. The flat format enables precise control when grating small amounts directly over plates, bowls or pans and reduces bulk compared with box graters. The grating surface is optimized for consistent shreds and fine zest, helping achieve uniform results with minimal effort.

Suitable for

• Grating hard and semi-hard cheeses (Parmesan, Pecorino)
• Creating citrus zest for baking and cocktails
• Finely grating chocolate for desserts
• Shredding firm vegetables such as carrots or radishes

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel grating surface and body
• Design: flat, hand-held grater
• Grating type: fine to medium shredding suitable for zesting and grating
• Cleaning: rinseable and suitable for hand-washing; quick drying surface
• Storage: slim profile for drawer storage or hanging

How to use

Place the grater on a stable surface or hold it at a slight angle over the dish or cutting board. Press the food item gently against the grating surface and move it back and forth with even strokes. For best control when zesting citrus, use light pressure and short strokes close to the peel to avoid the bitter pith. After use, rinse the grating surface immediately under running water to remove residues, then dry thoroughly to maintain the stainless finish.

Recommendations

Use protective gloves or a fingertip guard when grating small pieces to protect skin from the sharp edges. Avoid using the grater on excessively hard objects such as frozen blocks to preserve the integrity of the grating surface.
