The Westmark 11562260 flat grater is made of durable stainless steel and measures 72 mm in width and 142 mm in height. Its sharp abrasive surface and raised collecting rim make it suitable for finely grating ingredients such as ginger, wasabi, garlic, nutmeg, turmeric, chocolate, hard cheese and lemon peel. The compact, ergonomic design allows comfortable handling and straightforward storage for home or professional kitchens.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction ensures corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. A very sharp grating surface produces consistent fine shavings, while the raised rim collects the grated product for precise addition to food or drinks. The flat shape and compact dimensions provide convenient storage and handling.

How to use

Place the grater on a stable work surface or hold it at an angle over a bowl. Rub the ingredient across the sharp surface using even pressure so that fine shavings collect behind the raised rim. Tap or scrape the rim gently to release the grated product into your dish or drink. After use, rinse under warm water and dry to prevent water spots; for thorough cleaning, wash with mild detergent and a soft brush if needed.

Recommendations

For best results, grate small quantities at a time and use light, steady strokes. Avoid applying excessive force which can dull the surface and reduce control when handling thin or slippery ingredients.
