HP 712w USB flash disk 128 GB USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) čierny

The HP 712w USB Flash Drive provides 128 GB of portable storage in a compact slide, capless design. With a USB Type-A connector and USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance (up to 120 MB/s as stated by the manufacturer), the drive is intended for transporting and sharing photos, music and documents. The lightweight black housing makes it easy to carry and use with compatible USB-A ports.

Advantages

The sliding capless mechanism protects the connector without a separate cap and keeps the drive compact for pocket or bag storage. USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) interface enables faster file transfers compared with USB 2.0, and the 128 GB capacity accommodates large collections of media and documents. The drive’s low weight (approximately 10.2 g) contributes to convenient everyday portability.

Suitable for

• Storing and transporting photos and videos
• Backing up documents and work files

The operating system should detect the device automatically and assign a removable drive letter for file transfer. Copy or move files using your file manager, then use the system’s safe removal or eject function before disconnecting to reduce the risk of data loss. When not in use, retract the connector to protect it during transport.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid removing the drive while files are being written. Keep a backup of important files on a second device or cloud service. Use only compatible USB‑A ports and consider updating device drivers if transfer speeds are lower than expected.
