Key specifications

• Surface: matte finish to reduce glare (suitable for markers and counters)
• Intended use: visualising numeric units and simple arithmetic
• Durability: designed for repeated handling in educational settings

How to use

Place the WEDO ECO I counting board on a flat tabletop and introduce counters, beads or erasable markers to represent numbers. Use the board to show single-digit numbers, group units into tens for place-value demonstrations, and perform step-by-step addition or subtraction by moving counters or marking positions. The neutral surface lets instructors combine visual demonstration with verbal explanation; learners can practice by arranging counters or writing temporary marks directly on the board if compatible markers are used.

Recommendations

For classroom use, pair the counting board with small counters or coloured chips to illustrate grouping and exchanges. Clean the surface according to the manufacturer’s guidance and store the board flat to maintain its condition. Use low-odour, erasable markers if marking is required, and supervise small items during activities with younger children.
