PoE extender Lanview LVN-POE60W-OUT 1 Gb/s 60W vodotesný pre vonkajšie použitie

Lanview LVN-POE60W-OUT is a PoE extender designed for outdoor network deployments where extended cable runs and reliable power delivery are required. Housed in a waterproof enclosure, it supports data transfer at up to 1 Gb/s and supplies up to 60 W of power to connected Power over Ethernet devices. The unit is intended to bridge gaps between power sources and powered devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points, enabling flexible placement of devices beyond standard Ethernet distance limits.

Advantages

The extender combines gigabit data throughput with a high-power PoE output in a weather-resistant casing, allowing both network and power signals to continue over extended distances without additional power outlets at the device location. Its waterproof design protects internal circuitry from rain and moisture, and the 60 W power capability supports a wide range of single-device and mid-power multi-device scenarios. Installation is simplified by standard RJ45 connectors and a compact form factor suitable for mounting near outdoor equipment.

Suitable for

• Outdoor IP surveillance cameras that require more than standard Ethernet distance or higher power
• Wireless access points and outdoor Wi‑Fi bridges positioned away from indoor power sources
• Remote PoE devices in gardens, parking lots, building facades, and other exposed locations
• Extending PoE links between network switches and devices where intermediate powering is needed

When it may not be suitable

This PoE extender is intended specifically for outdoor use with devices that accept PoE and gigabit Ethernet; it is not a substitute for an indoor power supply or a managed network switch with advanced configuration features. It may not be suitable for applications requiring powered redundancy, carrier-grade environmental protection beyond standard waterproofing, or multi-port power distribution beyond a single-pass extender's capability.

Key specifications

• Maximum data rate: 1 Gb/s
• Maximum PoE output: up to 60 W
• Enclosure: waterproof outdoor-rated housing
• Connectivity: RJ45 Ethernet ports for input and output
• Function: PoE extension to increase cable run length while delivering power and data

How to use

Mount the Lanview PoE extender in a sheltered but outdoor-exposed position close to the device you want to power. Connect the incoming PoE cable from a compatible PoE switch or injector to the extender's input port, and connect the output port to the powered device using a suitable outdoor-rated Ethernet cable. Ensure connectors and cable entries are sealed according to site conditions to maintain waterproofing. Verify that the upstream PoE source can supply sufficient power and that the total cable length and type support gigabit transmission.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the powered device accepts PoE and the required power does not exceed 60 W
• Ensure upstream PoE source (switch/injector) can provide necessary power and supports gigabit rates
• Check cable type and maximum total cable length to maintain reliable 1 Gb/s performance
• Plan mounting location and sealing method to preserve waterproof integrity

Recommendations

For stable operation, use shielded or outdoor-rated Ethernet cabling, keep total cable length within Ethernet specifications for gigabit links, and verify power budgets before connecting high-draw devices. Periodic inspection of seals and connectors is recommended in harsh environments.
