Pohybový senzor, káblový, nástenná montáž Merten MEG5710-0319 – interiérový, 12 m dosah, biely

Merten MEG5710-0319 is a wired wall-mounted motion detector for indoor environments with a detection range of up to 12 m in white finish. The device is intended for fixed installation on walls and provides presence detection through a passive infrared sensor. It is supplied as a single unit and uses wired connectivity to integrate with lighting control or security systems, offering stable signal transmission without reliance on batteries or wireless links.

Advantages

The wired design ensures continuous power and reliable communication with building control systems. A 12 m detection range covers corridors, rooms and entryways while the compact white housing blends with standard interior fittings. The passive infrared technology provides accurate motion detection for human presence and reduces false triggers from small animals or environmental changes when properly positioned. Its wall-mounted format simplifies placement at typical eye-level or above doorways for optimal coverage.

Suitable for

• Automated lighting control in corridors and stairwells
• Presence detection in offices, meeting rooms and storage areas
• Integration with access control and alarm systems
• Residential entryways and common areas in multi‑unit buildings

Key specifications

• Sensor type: passive infrared (PIR)
• Mounting: wall-mounted
• Detection distance: up to 12 m
• Installation: wired connectivity for integration with control systems
• Colour: white
• Intended use: indoor environments

How to use

Install the motion detector on an interior wall at the recommended height specified by the system designer or installer, typically above door frames or at eye level for optimal coverage. Connect the unit to the building’s control wiring following electrical safety standards and the project wiring diagram. Configure the connected control system to respond to detector signals for functions such as switching lights, triggering alarms or logging presence events. Position the detector to avoid direct view of windows, heat sources or HVAC outlets to minimize false detections.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, have the device installed and commissioned by a qualified electrician or installer. Verify detection coverage after installation and adjust mounting position if necessary. Use the detector as part of a properly designed control scheme to ensure correct timing, sensitivity and integration with other sensors or controls.
