The Equip Fixed Shelf 19' 2U 800MM Black (MPN: EZFS-19-2-80-B, EAN: 4015867232798) is a steel rack shelf designed to provide stable, stationary support inside 19-inch server cabinets and racks. It occupies 2U of rack height and offers a usable width of 482 mm with a depth of 349 mm. Finished in black, the shelf is intended for storing non-rack-mountable devices, cable management accessories, tools or small peripherals where ventilation and fixed support are required. The product weighs 2 kg and is supplied in a form suitable for secure mounting in compatible 19" rack systems.

Advantages

The fixed shelf delivers a simple, low-maintenance solution for supporting equipment that does not require direct front-rail mounting. Its steel construction provides reliable load-bearing capacity for typical accessories and compact devices while the black finish matches most rack interiors. The 2U height conserves vertical rack space and the defined dimensions (482 mm width, 349 mm depth) allow predictable placement and clearances when planning rack layouts.

Suitable for

• Supporting small network appliances, power supplies or external drives that are not 19" rack-mounted
• Organizing cable bundles, patch panels and cable management hardware
• Housing tools, spare parts and maintenance accessories inside server cabinets
• Creating a stable platform for test equipment or temporary devices in a rack environment

Ensure the shelf is level and all fasteners are tightened to provide stable support. Place devices or items centrally on the shelf to distribute weight evenly and avoid exceeding the rack or shelf load limits as specified by your rack system documentation.

Recommendations

Use the shelf for non-permanent or irregularly mounted equipment; avoid placing heavy rack-mounted servers or items that require active ventilation directly on the shelf. Keep cable routing tidy to maintain airflow and allow access for maintenance. Refer to the cabinet manufacturer’s load capacity guidelines and use appropriate mounting hardware for a secure installation.
