How to use

Select the correct cartridges and filters that correspond to the hazards present and the FFABE1P3RD classification. Fit the half mask to the face, positioning the seal over the nose and mouth, then adjust the head straps until the mask sits comfortably and securely. Perform a user seal check each time the mask is worn to confirm an adequate seal. Replace cartridges and filters according to the manufacturer’s guidance or earlier if breathing becomes difficult, if filters are damaged, or if exposure limits are exceeded.

Recommendations

Use the 3M 4277 only after confirming that the chosen cartridges and filters are appropriate for the specific gases, vapours and particulates encountered. Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of the facepiece and replace consumables as needed. Users should be trained in respirator fitting, use and limitations; medical clearance may be required for certain work environments.
