The Bosch MAIZ 32 EPC Wood 80 plunge-cut saw blade is designed for precise wood cutting in plunge applications. Made for use with plunge and track saws that accept a 32 mm mounting diameter, the blade delivers straight, controlled cuts in solid wood, panels and laminates. Its tooth geometry and hard-wearing cutting edge are optimized for woodworking tasks where accuracy and minimal tear-out are important.

Advantages

The blade provides controlled plunge capability and stable guidance for straight cuts, reducing the need for secondary finishing. Its tooth design minimizes splintering on the top surface of panels and improves edge quality when cutting thin materials. Constructed from hardened cutting material, the blade maintains sharpness during extended use and supports consistent cutting performance across a range of wood types.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the blade on a compatible plunge or track saw with a 32 mm arbor, following the tool manufacturer's mounting and safety instructions. Ensure the blade is securely fastened and the saw guard and guide rail (if used) are correctly positioned. Perform a test cut on scrap material to confirm alignment and depth settings before cutting the workpiece. Feed the saw at a steady rate appropriate to the material thickness to avoid burning or excessive wear.

Recommendations

Use sharp blades for best results; replace or re-sharpen when signs of dulling—such as increased feed pressure, burning or rough edges—appear. For delicate laminate faces, support the cut surface and use a zero-clearance insert or backing to further reduce splintering. Follow personal protective equipment and dust-extraction guidelines when cutting wood.
