Port blocker Lindy RJ45 Port Locks oranžový 10x + 1 kľúč

The Lindy RJ-45 Port Blocker Key set provides a simple physical solution to restrict access to open RJ-45 network ports. The set includes ten orange semi-permanent RJ-45 blocking caps and a matching insertion/removal key. Each blocker plugs into the RJ-45 jack and latches in place like a network cable, remaining secured until removed with the key. The product is intended to reduce unauthorised or accidental connections and to indicate inactive or secured ports in environments such as offices, schools or other public-sector locations.

Advantages

The port blockers offer a quick and reversible way to prevent users from inserting cables, devices or foreign objects into RJ-45 ports. Made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), the blockers are durable and designed to latch securely into the port. The set contains ten blockers and one key, with alternative pack sizes and individual keys available for different deployment needs. The orange colour provides a clear visual cue for blocked or inactive ports.

• Offices and corporate network rooms

How to use

Attach a blocker to the insertion key, align it with the RJ-45 port and push the blocker into the jack until it latches. Hold the blocker in place and remove the key; the blocker will remain secured in the port. To remove a blocker, insert the key into the blocker until it clicks and then pull the blocker and key out together. The same key is used for insertion and removal and is colour-matched to the blockers; ensure you use the corresponding colour key for these blockers.

Recommendations

The port blockers are intended as a basic physical and visual deterrent to unauthorised connections and accidental damage. They do not provide high security against a determined attacker seeking physical access to a port. Verify compatibility with existing port blocker generations before deployment, as these blockers are not compatible with previous-generation designs.
