How to use

Connect the locking PowerCon-style connector to the matching inlet on the equipment ensuring the connector engages and locks according to the connector’s mechanical guide. Route the cable to the mains outlet or distribution unit and make the mains connection with the appropriate fixed connector or power distribution panel. Verify that the cable is not twisted or under tension and that it is clear of moving parts and heat sources before applying mains power. When disconnecting, switch off power at the source, unlock the connector and remove the cable by following the connector’s release procedure.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its rated current and ambient temperature limits, avoid sharp bends near the connector, and perform periodic inspections for wear or damage. Replace the cable if any insulation or connector damage is observed. For permanent installations, secure the cable to prevent strain on the connector and follow local electrical safety regulations when routing and connecting mains power.
