How to use

Plug the extension lead into a properly installed and functioning mains outlet, then connect the device to the socket end of the cable. Verify that the combined current draw of connected devices does not exceed 16 A. Lay the cable so it does not pose a tripping hazard, avoid sharp bends and do not place heavy objects on the cable. For outdoor use, ensure the cable and connectors are suitable for the environment and protected from moisture and mechanical damage.

Recommendations

Use this 16 A extension cable for temporary and semi-permanent arrangements where the load is within the rated current. Avoid continuous heavy loads close to the rated maximum, and inspect the cable periodically for wear, damage to the insulating sheath, or damaged connectors. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and replace the extension lead.
