The unit features standardised module windows that accept a variety of screwed-in communication and power modules, allowing configurations to be changed as needs evolve. The product is available in different colours and won the Red Dot Design Award 2011 and the iF Product Design Award 2012; it was also nominated for the German Design Award 2012.

Recommendations

Install the DESK 2 on a stable desk edge at a height that maintains the 45° user orientation for easy access. Use certified GST18 inlets and ensure earthing continuity. Do not exceed the rated current of connected modules; consult an electrician for custom installations or if the power strip will feed high-power equipment.
