For best battery life, fully charge the speaker before portable use and avoid running at maximum volume for extended periods. Use the equalizer presets and treble/bass adjustments to match the acoustics of the environment. Keep the speaker dry and avoid direct exposure to rain; store and transport it in a padded bag to protect the cabinet and LED backlight.
