Priamočiara píla Metabo STB 18 L 90 Carcass Metabox 145

The Metabo STB 18 L 90 Carcass Metabox 145 jigsaw is a cordless precision cutting tool designed for accurate straight and angled cuts in a variety of materials. Powered by an 18 V battery, the saw offers variable speed control to adapt blade travel to wood, plastic, and thin metal. The tool is supplied with a Metabox 145 case for protected storage and convenient transport, and its robust build supports repeated use on job sites and workshops.

Advantages

The jigsaw combines cordless mobility with stable cutting performance, allowing work without a power cable while maintaining consistent speed under load. Adjustable speed control and an orbital stroke setting enable clean cuts and efficient material removal across different workpieces. The integrated dust extraction port and ergonomic grip contribute to better visibility of the cutting line and reduced operator fatigue. Inclusion of the Metabox 145 provides organised storage and simple transport between sites.

Suitable for

• Cutting timber panels, plywood and laminate flooring
• Making curved and straight cuts in plastics and non-ferrous metals
• On-site carpentry and furniture carcass assembly
• DIY renovation projects and precision trimming

• Supplied with Metabox 145 for storage and transport

How to use

Charge a compatible 18 V lithium-ion battery and install it securely before operation. Select a blade suitable for the material and clamp it according to the tool’s blade-change procedure. Set the speed and orbital stroke mode appropriate for the workpiece: lower speeds for metals and fine finishes, higher speeds for fast wood cutting. Align the shoe plate against the workpiece, mark the cutting line, and start the tool while allowing the blade to reach the set speed before engaging the cut. Hold the jigsaw steadily and guide it along the marked line without forcing the blade; allow the tool to determine the feed rate for a clean result.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask) and secure the workpiece before cutting. For accurate bevel cuts, clamp a straight guide or use the base plate adjustment and verify angle settings. Regularly clean the shoe plate and blade clamping area and use suitable blades for the material to extend blade life and preserve cutting quality. Store the tool and accessories in the Metabox 145 to protect them from damage and to keep components together between jobs.
