Priechodka na kábel LogiLink MP0006

The LogiLink MP0006 cable boot is a protective cover designed for RJ-45 connectors. Made to fit standard modular Ethernet plugs, this black cable boot reduces strain at the cable-connector junction and helps prevent accidental damage and connector wear. It provides a compact, discreet finish that preserves the mechanical integrity of network cables in office, server-room, and home networking environments.

Advantages

The LogiLink MP0006 offers a simple mechanical protection for RJ-45 connectors without altering cable performance. Its black colour masks dirt and gives a uniform appearance across installations. By shielding the connector latch and reducing bending at the plug end, it extends the usable life of patch cords and field-terminated cables while keeping connections neat and less prone to accidental release.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Protecting RJ-45 connectors on patch cords in offices and data centres
• Reducing strain on cables in wall-plate and switch installations
• Maintaining appearance and durability of Ethernet cables in residential networks
• Use during frequent plug/unplug cycles to protect connector latches

Key specifications

• Compatible connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C) modular plugs
• Colour: Black
• Function: Strain relief and latch protection for modular Ethernet connectors
• Form factor: Snap-on boot designed for standard-sized RJ-45 plugs

How to use

Slide the LogiLink MP0006 boot onto the cable before terminating the RJ-45 connector, or push it over an existing plug if the design allows. Ensure the boot covers the plug body and the latch area to provide protection and strain relief. Verify that the boot does not impede full insertion of the connector into sockets or keystone jacks and that the cable can flex without placing concentrated stress at the termination point.

Recommendations

For best results, place the boot on the cable prior to crimping when possible; use the boot on cables subject to frequent movement or bending to reduce connector failures. Choose the appropriate boot size for the cable and connector type to ensure a secure fit and unobstructed connector insertion.
