Printserver SEH printserver One Ethernet LAN čierny 10/100/1000 Mbit/s

The SEH printserver One is a compact Ethernet LAN print server (black) that provides a second network interface for printers via a USB connection. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and common networking standards (IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab) and works with a wide range of printers including inkjet, laser, label, large format, plotter, dot matrix, barcode printers and multifunction devices. The device is designed for environments where a printer needs to be accessed from multiple computers or where an additional network interface is required for separation of secure and non-secure networks.

Advantages

The printserver One adds a second network interface to printers through the printer's USB port, enabling simultaneous access from different network segments. It supports full Ethernet speeds up to 1 Gbit/s while using standard network protocols such as BOOTP and DHCP. The unit is small, energy-efficient (typical power consumption 2.5 W) and compatible with various Windows Server environments, allowing secure or segregated use of printing systems without modifying the printer hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting a single printer to multiple computers across a LAN
• Adding a secondary network interface to printers that only have one Ethernet port
• Separating printer access between a secure internal network and an Internet-connected segment
• Integrating diverse printer types (inkjet, laser, label, plotter, dot matrix, barcode, multifunction)

How to use

Connect the SEH printserver One to the printer's USB port and then to the network via the RJ-45 Ethernet port. Configure the network settings either via DHCP or by assigning a static IP, and ensure the printserver is reachable from the devices that need to print. Install or configure printer drivers on client computers as required by the operating system and the printer model. For environments that require separation, attach one network segment to the printer’s original Ethernet interface and the other via the printserver to provide distinct access paths.

Recommendations

Place the printserver in a secure network location and use DHCP or static addressing consistently across the network. For mixed-security environments, keep the Internet-connected side separated from the secure side and monitor access logs if available. Verify driver compatibility on Windows Server systems before deployment.
