The Ergotron 98-729-290 Aluminium Steel White monitor mount accessory is a grommet-mount conversion kit that lets you install LX Pro arms through a suitable desk grommet hole. Made from aluminium and steel, the kit provides a large base and a tall pole to create a stable, flexible support for single or dual monitor configurations. The product is finished in white and is supplied as a compact packaged unit with a long manufacturer warranty.

Advantages

This accessory offers a solid, corrosion-resistant combination of aluminium and steel for reliable support while remaining relatively lightweight at 1.8 kg. The large-size base and taller pole increase stability and allow greater freedom when positioning LX Pro monitor arms. The white finish integrates cleanly with modern desk setups and the included warranty provides extended confidence in long-term use.

Suitable for

• Mounting Ergotron LX Pro monitor arms through a desk grommet hole
• Single or dual monitor setups requiring a stable base and taller pole
• Office and home workstations with compatible grommet openings

When it may not be suitable

This grommet conversion kit requires a compatible grommet hole in the desktop; it is not intended for direct clamp mounting. It may not be appropriate for desks without a grommet or for installations that demand different pole heights or base dimensions than those provided.
