Protiprachový kryt pre teleskopy Delta Optical DO-6922 — veľký ochranný kryt

Protective dust cover Delta Optical DO-6922 — large protective cover is a tailored dust and moisture barrier designed for large telescopes and optical tubes. This OEM replacement part fits over the objective end or open tube of large instruments to reduce the ingress of dust, pollen and light moisture during storage and transport. The cover is made to be easy to fit and remove, preserving optical performance and helping extend the service life of the telescope when not in use.

Advantages

The large protective cover provides a snug fit for big optical tubes and observatory-class objectives, preventing dust accumulation and reducing the risk of surface contamination. Its design offers quick installation and removal without tools, and it protects optics from minor impacts and incidental moisture. The cover is compatible with both stationary observatory setups and portable field systems, contributing to lower maintenance needs and prolonged intervals between cleanings.

Suitable for

• Large aperture telescopes and refractors
• Optical tubes stored in observatory domes or storage racks
• Telescopes transported in cases or on mounts for field observing
• Long-term off-season storage of astronomical instruments

Key specifications

• Type: protective dust cover for large optical tubes
• Material properties: dust‑resistant, moisture‑resistant fabric or polymer exterior with soft interior contact surface
• Fit: designed for a snug, non-abrasive fit over objectives and open tube ends of large telescopes
• Installation: tool-free fitting and removal, elastic or adjustable edge for secure hold
• Usage environment: suitable for observatory and portable outdoor use

How to use

Place the cover over the objective end or open tube while the telescope is in a stable position. Ensure the contact surface is clean and free of grit before fitting to avoid scratching the optical housing. Stretch the cover evenly over the circumference until the edge or elastic rim sits flush with the tube or lens cell. For transport, secure any additional straps or fasteners to prevent shifting; for storage, keep the cover fitted while the instrument is in a dry, dust‑reduced environment.

Recommendations

Before fitting, wipe any coarse dirt from the outer barrel with a soft cloth. Avoid contact between the cover’s interior and exposed optics; if the interior becomes damp, remove the cover and allow both the instrument and cover to dry completely. Inspect the cover periodically for wear and replace it if the fit becomes loose or the material shows signs of damage.
