PTZ IP kamera Instar IN-9420 (model 14091) 2K+ 2560x1440, WLAN, LAN, PoE, IP66, čierna

The Instar IN-9420 is a PTZ IP surveillance camera that captures video at 2K+ resolution (2560×1440) for detailed monitoring of indoor and outdoor spaces. The unit supports wireless (WLAN) and wired (LAN) network connections and Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation. With an IP66 weather-resistance rating and a black housing, the camera is designed for continuous perimeter surveillance, remote site monitoring, and general security applications where pan, tilt and zoom control and higher-resolution imagery are required.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution 2K+ imaging that improves identification of faces, license plates and fine scene detail compared with standard HD cameras. PTZ functionality delivers flexible coverage: remote pan and tilt control lets operators follow activity across a wide area while optical zoom permits close-up inspection without repositioning the device. Multiple network interfaces — WLAN for flexible placement, LAN for stable connections, and PoE for single-cable power and data — simplify deployment options. The IP66 rating ensures the housing resists heavy rain and dust for reliable outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter and entrance monitoring
• Parking lots and vehicle access control
• Commercial building façades and loading zones
• Remote properties and construction site surveillance
• Indoor large-area coverage where pan/tilt/zoom is needed

When it may not be suitable

If absolute covert operation is required, the visible PTZ housing and movement make the camera less suitable. The camera provides advanced network connectivity but still depends on proper network configuration and bandwidth; environments with extremely limited or unreliable network access may limit remote streaming performance. For applications that require thermal imaging, radar detection, or ultra-long-range optical zoom beyond the camera's built-in capability, a different specialized sensor would be needed.

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 2560 × 1440 (2K+)
• Pan and tilt: motorized PTZ mechanism for wide-area coverage
• Optical zoom: motorized zoom (optical zoom level per manufacturer specification)
• Network interfaces: wireless (WLAN) and wired Ethernet (LAN)
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and alternative local power options
• Ingress protection: IP66 weather resistance for outdoor use
• Housing color: black

How to use

Install the camera at a location that provides a clear field of view and where the housing is protected against direct vandalism. Use the LAN connection or PoE for a reliable power and data link, or WLAN when cabling is not feasible; ensure the wireless network provides sufficient signal strength at the mounting point. Configure camera settings through the supplied web interface or management software: set resolution, frame rate, motion detection zones and PTZ presets. Test pan, tilt and zoom functions and adjust presets to cover priority areas. If outdoor mounted, angle the camera to manage glare and install at recommended height to avoid tampering.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify network bandwidth and storage requirements for 2K+ video streams
• Confirm PoE capability on your switch or use a PoE injector if needed
• Check mounting location for strong WLAN signal if planning wireless use
• Ensure installation meets local regulations for surveillance and privacy
• Consider required accessories such as mounting brackets, conduit, or surge protection

Recommendations

For consistent remote monitoring, use PoE over a wired LAN for the primary feed and reserve WLAN as a backup. Configure motion detection with targeted PTZ presets to reduce false alarms and optimize recording storage. Regularly inspect seals and mounting hardware to maintain IP66 performance in harsh weather.
