Puzdro na SSD ASUS TUF Gaming A2 čierne pre M.2 PCIe / SATA, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 20 Gbit/s, až do 4 TB, hliník, IP68

TUF GAMING A2 is an external SSD enclosure designed for gamers and power users who need fast, reliable portable storage. It supports one M.2 drive with PCIe and SATA interfaces, a maximum capacity of 4 TB, and USB-C® 3.2 Gen 2x2 connectivity for data transfer speeds up to 20 Gbit/s. The enclosure combines an aluminum shell, silicone-rubber exterior protection, IP68 water- and dust-resistance, and U.S. MIL-STD-810H level durability to protect the SSD in a wide range of environments. An internal thermal management system helps keep drive temperatures controlled, and the Q-Latch mechanism enables tool-free installation and removal of the M.2 SSD. The black design integrates with gaming setups and is compatible with PCs, Macs, mobile devices and current consoles.

Advantages

The enclosure provides USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 performance up to 20 Gbit/s for fast file transfers, while supporting both PCIe and SATA M.2 drives. Robust protection is achieved through IP68 water- and dust-resistance, silicone-rubber exterior and compliance with MIL-STD-810H durability tests. Built-in thermal management improves sustained performance by dissipating heat from high-speed drives, and the Q-Latch system allows quick, tool-free installation of M.2 SSDs. Broad device compatibility makes it suitable for expanding game libraries or backing up large data collections.

Suitable for

• Gamers who need portable, high-speed storage for a large game library
• Users migrating or testing M.2 PCIe or SATA drives
• Professionals requiring fast external storage for large files (video, design, backups)
• Mobile users who need a rugged drive enclosure for travel

How to use

Open the enclosure and insert a compatible M.2 SSD (PCIe or SATA) using the Q-Latch mechanism for tool-free installation. Close the enclosure and connect it to a host device via the USB-C port using a compatible cable. For best performance, connect to a host that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. The internal thermal management will help maintain operating temperatures during heavy use. Eject the drive from the host operating system before disconnecting the cable to avoid data loss.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality USB-C cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 to achieve maximum transfer speeds. Install a PCIe NVMe drive for the fastest performance or a SATA M.2 drive for compatibility with older devices; check drive thickness and length compatibility before installation. Avoid submerging the enclosure for prolonged periods even though it has IP68 protection, and store the device in a dry place when not in use.
