In daily use

The pot's cast iron construction holds heat steadily, reducing temperature fluctuations during long cooking. Its grey enamelled finish resists staining and is dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve the coating. The lid's inner dimples collect steam and return it to the food, keeping dishes moist without frequent basting.
