Rackový panel OpDAT 1U BTR METZ CONNECT so SC konektormi, hliník/oceľ, 482,6×44,5×242,5 mm, sivý

OpDAT 1U panel BTR METZ CONNECT with SC connectors is a rack-mount fibre optic distribution unit designed for neat organisation and protection of fibre terminations. The housing combines aluminium and steel in a grey finish and fits a standard 19-inch rack occupying 1U of vertical space. With dimensions of 482.6 × 44.5 × 242.5 mm, the panel provides accessible front-facing SC ports for connection and management in telecom, data centre and enterprise cabling environments.

Advantages

The panel offers a compact 1U form factor that saves rack space while providing reliable mechanical protection for fibre connectors and pigtails. Front-mounted SC connectors enable simple, repeatable connections and easier maintenance. Construction from aluminium and steel ensures a balance of durability and reduced weight, and the standard rack width ensures compatibility with common server and network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Telecommunication distribution frames and patching
• Data centre fibre patch panels and network racks
• Enterprise network cabling and server room installations
• FTTx termination points in controlled indoor environments

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mount panel, 19-inch compatible
• Connector type: SC duplex/standard front-mounted fibre connectors
• Material: aluminium and steel housing
• Finish: grey paint/coating
• External dimensions: 482.6 × 44.5 × 242.5 mm (W × H × D)

How to use

Install the panel into a standard 19-inch rack using the front mounting ears and appropriate screws. Route incoming and outgoing fibre cables into the rear of the unit, secure pigtails or adapter modules as required, and terminate or connect fibres to the front-facing SC connectors. Ensure fibres are routed with appropriate bend radius control and secured to prevent strain on terminations. Label front ports as needed for identification and documentation.

Recommendations

Perform installation in a clean environment, handle fibre connectors using recommended ESD and cleanliness practices, and avoid sharp bends. Use appropriate cable management accessories within the rack to maintain bend radius and prevent stress on connectors. Periodically inspect and clean SC connectors with suitable fibre cleaning tools to maintain signal performance.
