RAM Mounts RAM 2,5" maximálne otvorenie čeľustí s guľou veľkosti D 2,25" (RAM-D-247U-25)

On a fishing boat, a skipper needs to mount a fish finder where the rail is too thick for standard clamps. The RAM-D-247U-25 solves this with a 2.5-inch jaw opening, gripping rails, bars, or flat surfaces from 0.625 to 2.5 inches. Its D-size 2.25-inch ball connects to any RAM D-size arm, providing a solid foundation for electronics in marine, automotive, or industrial settings.

Why choose it

Built from marine-grade aluminum with a durable powder coat, this clamp base withstands harsh environments. The wide jaw opening accommodates larger rails and tubes, while the D-size ball offers compatibility with a vast ecosystem of RAM mounts. Its robust construction ensures a secure hold, reducing vibration and keeping your device stable.

Ideal use cases

• Marine: mounting fish finders, chartplotters, or radios on boat rails
• Automotive: attaching devices to roll bars or thick handlebars
• Industrial: securing equipment to pipes or beams
• General purpose: any application requiring a sturdy clamp base with a 2.25-inch ball

Good to know

The clamp base is sold without mounting hardware; you will need a compatible RAM D-size arm and device holder to complete your setup. The lifetime warranty reflects RAM Mounts' confidence in its durability. For installation, ensure the surface is clean and the clamp is tightened securely to prevent slippage.
