Rám pre SSD DeLOCK 47117 3,5 palca pre 2 x M.2 NVMe SSD

This solid metal mobile rack by Delock fits into a 3.5" drive bay and holds two M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2280, 2260, 2242 or 2230 sizes. It connects via a Slim SAS SFF-8654 compatible interface and is intended to provide a compact, durable solution for adding or swapping M.2 storage inside a desktop or compatible enclosure.

Advantages

The mobile rack allows quick hot-swapping of M.2 SSDs using a dedicated mechanism for fast exchange. A keyed tray lock prevents unauthorised access, while a metal carrier with top and bottom springs reduces vibration and improves stability for mobile or vibration-prone environments. The unit is finished in black and supports two M.2 drives, enabling space-efficient expansion of storage capacity.

Suitable for

• Desktop PCs with an available 3.5" bay
• Systems requiring frequent SSD exchange or backups
• Environments where vibration reduction is beneficial (mobile workstations, small servers)
• Users who need a secure, lockable removable M.2 solution

How to use

Install the mobile rack into a free 3.5" bay in the PC chassis following standard bay-mounting procedures. Insert compatible M.2 NVMe SSDs (sizes 2280/2260/2242/2230) into the tray and ensure they are seated correctly. Slide the tray fully into the enclosure until the mechanism engages and a proper connection is established. Use the key lock to secure the tray when needed and remove the key before operating the system if required by your security policy.

Recommendations

Ensure the tray is fully inserted before powering on the system; incomplete insertion can prevent the SSDs from being detected. Regularly back up important data and store removed SSDs in an appropriate anti-static container. Do not force the tray; align drives carefully to avoid connector damage.
